December at a Glance

Hello everyone and welcome to our website and blog! The website is currently in the works, however in the meantime our blog will be up and running. Our aim is for this to serve as a space to bring you into what goes on here at Abundance, as well as keep you updated on events, products, our suppliers, etc. Much like the Community Fog Horn we have up by our front entrance, this is about keeping all of you in the know. It’s also about sharing with you a little bit of our world as it evolves, shifts and expands.

So far this month has been really fun for us. We’ve started baking sugar cookies and gingerbread men. We bought a comfy vintage couch! We installed a fireplace (and named it Steve)! We had a blast decorating our space (a team effort) and brought back our holiday drinks. We were serenaded by the Lillooet Choir one afternoon. Recently, we had an amazing Christmas staff dinner catered by our friend and Lillooet local, Paisley Meister. It’s safe to say there’s something about the energy in the cafe that has been truly magical this holiday season - our second Christmas in our new space! So thank you for coming in to be a part of it.

Now for some announcements…

We will be selling raffle tickets for our fundraiser until December 20th. All proceeds will be donated to Chillaxin Youth Centre, and the winner will receive a gift basket worth $100 of Abundance treats, featuring Pemberton Valley Coffee. Don’t forget to enter!

Christmas baking is now in full swing. If you’d like to place an order, please do so in person or by phone. Our number is (250)-256-8756. In general we’d prefer you not use Facebook Messenger as we don’t always see them in time. Larger orders should be placed 48 hours in advance so to give us enough notice. We will be open Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for pick-up.

Finally, here are our Holiday Hours:

Open Christmas Eve from 8 am - 2pm

Closed December 25, 26 and 27

Open December 28 and 29 for regular hours

Open New Year’s Eve from 8 am - 4 pm

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading and happy Saturday…
